Marie E. (Hyler) Orewiler

Marie E. Orewiler, age 86, of 21 Steele Avenue, in Shelby, died late Sunday evening in Mansfield Genetal Hospital after an extended illness. She was born November 24, 1907 in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of James and Grace (Oberlander) Hyler.

Mrs. Orewiler was a 31-year employee of Carton Service in Shelby. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby and the Eagles AuxilIary in Shelby.

She is survived by her husband, Robert K. Orewiler, whom she married on September 4, 1948; 2 sisters: Lela Jones of Shelby, and Phyliss Yoakam of Hillsdale, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers: Omar Hyler, Francis Hyler, and Leroy Hyler; and by 2 sisters: Madeline Hyler and Bannie Hosler.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday frem 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. with her pastor the Rev. Lyle Hinkle, officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Memorial Park.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Shelby Public Health League and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home.
