Marie C. (Brock) Fireoved

Marie C. Fireoved, age 96, formerly of 204 East Main Street, Shelby, died Friday morning, October 18, 1996, in the Crestwood Care Center after an extended illness. She was born July 9, 1900 in Shenango, West Virginia the daughter of George T. and Ida Brock.

Mrs. Fireoved was a homemaker and a member of the First Lutheran Church, Busy Bee Club, Ruth Gleaners Sunday School Class, A.A.R.P., and Golden Agers.

She is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Molly Fireoved of Shelby; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Marilyn Grauer of Shelby and Lou Ellen and Darwin Sampsel of Shelby; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a half sister, Pearl Anderson of New Martinsville, West Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Landis R. Fireoved in 1966, and a son John Richard Fireoved in 1987.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. June Fryman and Rev. Garry Guiffre officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
