Marian Leah (Berning) Huston

Marian Leah Huston passed away Monday evening, June 28, 2004 at the Crestwood Care Center after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born October 11, 1918 in Toledo, Ohio to Rose
(Geffe) Berning and Gale Berning. Graveside services were held Tuesday afternoon at Oakland Cemetery in a private ceremony.

Marian graduated from Shelby High School in 1936 and married John A. Huston on May 29, 1941. She was employed at the Tuby and retired as manager of billing. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby.

Marian was preceded in her passing by her parents, a brother, Robert Dale Berning and her husband, John Huston. She is survived by her son, Thomas John Huston of Shelby, a sister-in-law, Edith Huston of Shelby, a brother-in-law, Stan Huston of North Carolina, and extended family.

Family and friends will gather for a time of remembrance on Sunday, July 11, 2004 from 2-4 PM at the home of her son, Tom Huston, 38 Glenwood Drive, Shelby.
