Marguerite (Yockey) Miller

Marguerite Miller, age 79, of 38 Bradley Avenue, Shelby, died Saturday morning in the Community Care Nursing Home after an extened iliness. She was born October 1, 1910 in Greenwich, Ohio, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Hoak) Yockey.

Mrs. Miller was a former employee of the Shelby Salesbook Company.

Mrs. Miller is survived by 2 sons: James Miller of Florida, and Raymond Miller of Newark, Ohio; 1 daughter: Ruth Gilmore of Coshocton, Ohio; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Glenn Yockey of Salt Lake City, Utah; 3 sisters: Florence Sands and Frances Stroup both of Shelby, and Mrs. Ora (Dora) Sauder of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carl Miller in 1986; 4 brothers: Clarence, John, Harold, and victor Yockey; and 1 sister, Jane Yockey.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home with Rev. John J. Bradley, pastor of the First United Church Of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Calling hours will be on Monday evening from 7-9 and also on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
