Marguerite Mary (Berger) Floro

Marguerite Mary Floro, age 77, of 56 Mansfield Ave., died Friday, May 19, 2006.

She was born June 20, 1928 in Monroeville, Ohio, the daughter of the late John J. and Amelia (Ringline) Berger. Mrs. Floro was a homemaker, and her hobbies included reading and knitting. She also enjoyed following the Cleveland Indians.

She is survived by a daughter, Constance and Tom Coe of Shiloh; 6 sons, Larry Floro of Tucson, Arizona, Dennis and Jan Floro of Houston, Texas, Jim and Becky Floro of Canal Fulton, Ohio, Ken Floro of Durham, North Carolina, Harlan Floro Jr. of Canal Fulton, Ohio, John Floro of Tucson, Arizona; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Berger of Perrysburg; and 2 sisters, Joanne Mahl and Kathleen Smith, both of Willard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Wendell Floro Sr. in 1988, and two sisters, Anita Roeder and Jackie Langhalls.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 23, 2006, from 4-7 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30AM. Her son, Rev. Dennis Floro, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to American Cancer Society or Med Central Hospice.
