Lura Ann (Boggess) Stout
Lura Ann Stout, age 78, of Mansfield, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital.
She was born June 17, 1931 in Sandyville, West Virginia the daughter of the late Clifton H. and Ruth E. (Utt) Boggess. Lura was retired from North American Knitting Mills in Mansfield after 35 years of service. She loved traveling and camping.
Lura is survived by a daughter and her husband: Teresa and Dan Currens of Graniteville, South Carolina; a step daughter and her husband: Louella and Richard Takos of Shelby; a step son: George Tom Stout of Nebraska; 2 grandsons: Nathen Currens and Michael Currens; 2 step grandchildren: Renae Armstrong and Derek Bailey; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; 5 brothers: Charles Boggess, Roger Boggess, Clifton Boggess, David Boggess all of West Virginia, and Rodney Boggess of Indiana; 5 sisters: June Hill of Pennsylvania, Carolyn Love and Linda Compton both of Mansfield, Helen Watkins of Logan, OH and Sandy Barres of Hayesville. She was preceded in death by: 3 siblings: Sue Hamrick, Cecil Boggess and an infant brother; her husbands: Michael L. Holzworth and George R. Stout.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 from 10-11 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday conducted by Rev.
