Lucille M. (Baker) Chew

Lucille M. Chew, age 87, of 2 South Street, Shelby, died Sunday evening in the Crestwood Care Center.

She was born February 11, 1902 in Shelby the daughter of the late George and Anna (Howell) Baker.

Mrs. Chew is survived by 1 son: James Chew of Columbus, and 1 daughter: Mrs. Paul (Bonnie) Robinson of Myrtle Breach, South Carolina; 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Chew in 1975.

Mrs. Chew was a former employee of the Wilkins Air Force Depot.

Private graveside services will be conducted in Oakland Cemetery by Rev. James L. Smith, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Shelby.
