Lucile F. Kessler

Lucile F. Kessler, 85, of 88 Grand Blvd. died early this morning in the Heritage Care Center. She was born Feb. 23, 1906, near New Washington, the daughter of Charles and Ida Leonhart Kessler.

Miss Kessler had been a housekeeper in Shelby for 36 years. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, the Fellowship Group for Shut-ins, and the Ruth Gleaners Sunday School class at the church.

She is survived by four brothers: Arthur Kessler of New London, Marvin Kessler of Tombstone, AZ, Merton Kessler and Robert Kessler, both of Plymouth; two sisters: Inez Hass of Mansfield and Viola Frank of Shelby; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Cloyd Kessler.

Calling will be one hour prior to services, which will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl L. Johnson, her pastor. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
