Lovetta S. (Laser) Adams
Lovetta S. Adams, age 90, of 364 Gatewood Drive, Mansfield, died Monday, November 22, 2004 at Mansfield Memorial Homes after a short illness.
She was born June 23, 1914 in Jackson Township, Richland County, Ohio the daughter of the late Curtis and Fannie (Boyce) Laser. She was a 1932 graduate of Shelby High School and was a homemaker. She worked at Shelby Cycle Company and AMF in Shelby, retiring from Chief Motor Freight in Mansfield in 1979. She was a member of Ganges Community Church and was a former member of Shiloh chapter Order of the Eastern Star. She and her husband, Ross, moved to Florida in 1982 and she returned to Ohio in 2002. Lovetta enjoyed crocheting and reading.
Lovetta is survived by nieces and nephews: Gene and Darlene Laser of Mansfield, Lonnie and Alice Laser of Monroeville, Eddie and Tonya Laser of Plymouth, Dean and Marie Moorman of Plymouth, Donald and Martha Mooreman of Shiloh, Mary and Harry Nixon of Shelby, Barbara Stout of Hudson, MS, Donna Wilson of San Antoniao, TX, Shirley York of Goodyear, AZ; sister-in-law, Betty Laser of Goodyear, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ross Miller Adams in 2000, 4 brothers, William, Lester, Myron, and Harry Laser, 2 sisters, Autha Moorman and Pearl Dick, 2 nephews, Tom and Jim Laser.
Friends may call on Friday, November 26, 2004, from 10-11 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held Friday at 11 AM with Rev. Joe Kunz officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to Ganges Community Church. .
