Lovall P. “Lou” (Donohue) Donohue
Lovall P. “Lou” Donohue, age 81, of 211 Crestline Avenue, Mansfield, died Friday evening March 10, 2000 at Mansfield Memorial Homes after a long illness.
Lovall was born May 2, 1918 in Morgan County, Kentucky the daughter of James and Josie (Law) Donohue. Since 1967 she has owned the Red Lantern Saloon in Mansfield and also had been a beautician. During World War II, Lovall worked at Bell Aircraft Plant in Buffalo, New York. She loved horses and was a member of the Trotting Association.
Surviving are 4 brothers and sisters-in-law: S.M. (Sylvan) and Blandena Donohue of Mansfield; Ray and Cheryl Donohue, Gordon and Mary Donohue all of Morehead, KY; Gary and Jennifer Donohue of Lexington, KY; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law: Penny and Hager Ousley and Arvella and Calvin Mynhier all of Morehead,KY; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Watson in 1999, a brother, Harvey Donohue and 2 sisters: Hannah Wells and Velma Alfrey.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street,
Shelby and Monday from 6-8 PM at the Northcutt and Son Funeral Home, Morehead, KY where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 :00 AM with Rev. Max Molihan, officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery in Morehead. Memorials may be made to the Clevland Clilnic Foundation.
