Louise G. (Guthrie) Waddington
Louise G. Waddington, age 93, formerly of 33 Park Village in Shelby, died Tuesday afternoon in the Heritage Care Center after a long illness.
She was born September 9, 1901 in Shelby the daughter of William Dunbar and Emaline (Kindle) Guthrie.
Mrs. Waddington retired after 23 years of service from the motor department of the Autocall Co. in Shelby. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Rizpah Chapter #153 Order of The Eastern Star and the White Shrine, Golden Age Club and A.A.R.P.
She is survived by 1 grandson and his wife, Tom and Mary Jo Suhar of Lindenhurst, Illinois; 2 great grandchildren, Katherine and Stephan Suhar; a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Suhar of Cambridge;
2 step grandchildren, John Suhar of Cambridge and Barbara Reinbeau of Cambridge; 2 step great grandchildren, Jessica Reinbeau and Connor Reinbeau.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wilford Waddington in 1947 and by a daughter, Ruth Etta Suhar in 1955.
Calliing hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. J. Malcolm Brook, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
