Louis W. Beach
Louis W. Beach, age 62, of 15 Sunset Drive in Shelby, died Sunday as the result of an industrial accident at Copperweld. He was born November 6, 1932 in Crestline the son of Farence and Gladys (Lauer) Beach.
Mr. Beach was a 43 1/2 year employee of Copperweld – Shelby Division. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby the O’Brien Post #326 Shelby American Legion. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a 1951 graduate of Leesville High School.
Mr. Beach is survived by his wife, Shirley (Hetler) Beach, whom he married on November 11, 1956; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Rob Berridge of Hilliard, Ohio; Tami and Steve Gallihugh of Columbus and Cindy and Steve Cline of Waldo, Ohio; 1 grandson, Michael Bechtel and 1 granddaughter Rachelle Tuttle; 2 brothers, Farence Beach, Jr. of Galion and Calvin Beach of New Washington.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Dave Mann, Pastor of the Upper Arlington Lutheran Church and Rev. June Fryman associate pastor of First Lutheran Church in Shelby, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth.
Memorial expressions may be made to the family to be used for a special cancer research fund and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby.
