Loretta Ester (Dreher) Bender

Loretta (Esther) Bender, 79, of Heritage Care Center, died Friday morning in Shelby Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Born Sept. 22, 1905, in Marion, she was the daughter of Frederick and Louise (Schock) Dreher.
Her husband, William Bender, preceded her in death in 1963.

She was affiliated with the Methodist Church in Marion. Surviving is one sister, Ruth L. Pugh of Shelby.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Oakgrove Cemetery, Delaware.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Turner Funeral Home. There are no calling hours.
