Linda S. Washburn

Linda S. Washburn, age 48, of 46 South Gamble Street, Shelby, died at 6:35 A.M. Friday, March 20, 1998 at her home after an extended illness.
She was born October 19, 1949 in Willard the daughter of the late Hugh Wallace and Betty Jean (Webb) Washburn. Linda is survived by 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, Timothy and Linda R. Washburn of Shelby, Randall Washburn of Shelby and Scott Washburn of Shelby; 1 granddaughter; 1 sister Cindy Weimer of Mansfield; her Maternal Grandmother, Myrtle Webb of Mansfield.
Linda was a 17 year employee of Med Central Shelby Hospital. Most recently she was responsible for payroll and accounting services at Caring For You. She also served as a police dispatcher for the Shelby Police Department. She was a 1967 graduate of Plymouth High School and was actively involved in the Shelby Little League program having served as secretary, treasurer, and concession manager. Linda was an active member of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church and was a volunteer at St. Mary School.
The family invites friends and relatives to join with them in a time of remembrance for Linda at their home at 46 South Gamble , on Sunday from noon until 6:00 P.M. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church. Private graveside services will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorials may be made to an educational fund for her son in care of the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875.
