Leota P. Boyce
Funeral services for Leota P. Boyce, 71, of 2433 Holtz Road will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in First Lutheran Church by her pastor, the Rev. Carl L. Johnson.
Mrs. Boyce died Friday during open heart surgery at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
Burial will be in Franklin Methodist Church Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home.
Born Sept. 15, 1914, in Weller Township, Richland County, she was married July 4, 1940, to Arthur L. Boyce, who survives. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and Naomi Circle of the church. She had worked as associate secretary at the church and was a former secretary to the Richland County Superintendant of Schools.
Also surviving are two sons: John W. of Groveport, and Robert L. of Katy, Texas; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Mrs. Thomas (Eloise) Holmes of Pavonia and June Adams of Shelby. Mrs. Boyce was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Pittenger.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Lutheran Church, American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association and left at the funeral home.
