Leonard A. Kreinbrink

Leonard A. Kreinbrink, age 72, of 4539 Stein Road, Shelby, died Tuesday afternoon in Shelby Memorial Hospital after a short illness. He was born March 5, 1915 in Leipsic, Ohio, the son of Theodore and Elizabeth (Kuhlman) Kreinbrink.

Mr. Kreinbrink is survived by his wife, Edna (Schroeder) Kreinbrink, whom he married on June 7, 1939; 2 sons: Gerald Kreinbrink of Tiro, and Nicholas Kreinbrink of Shelby; 4 daughters: Sister Mary Stephan SND, of Whitehouse, Ohio; Mrs. Dennis (Alice) Jaqueth of Forest, Ohio; Mrs. Eugene (Helen) Boes of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; and Mrs. Jerome (Carolyn) Kanney of Pikeville, KY; 21 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson; 1 brother: Felix Kreinbrink of Leipsic.

He was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Mr. Kreinbrink was a retired farmer and a retired custodian for the Shelby City School System. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bethlehem, and the Shelby Knights of Columbus Council #1968 where he served as Grand Knight in 1968.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with his pastor the Rev. Gregory Bishop officiating. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, any time after 2:00 p.m. where the family will recieve friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Sacred Heart Church or to the Sisters of Notre Dame in Toledo and left at the funeral home.
