Leo C. Brinkerhoff
Leo C. Brinkerhoff, age 81, formerly of 50 Broadway, Shelby, died early this morning in St. Charles’ Hospital in Oregon, Ohio after an extended illness.
He was born May 15, 1907, in Shelby the son of Mortimer and Grace (Kinney) Brinkerhoff.
Mr. Brinkerhoff was a former employee of AMF in Shelby. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Shelby Masonic Lodge #350 F and AM.
He is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. John (Leota) Richards, of Toledo; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 1 brother, Roeliff Loomis of Shelby; 2 sisters, Bernice Smith and Florence Lego both of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his wife Marie F. (Van Derveer) Brinkerhoff in 1985.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. with his pastor the Rev. Dr. Carl G. Beighley officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Masonic Services will be held Sunday evening at 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial expressions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the First United Methodist Church and left at the funeral home.
