Lena Neoma (Conine) Went

Lena Neoma Went, age 93, formerly of 49 Park Village, died Tuesday morning in the Crestwood Care Center after a long illness. She was born October 12, 1898 in Gilboa, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Daisy (Nutter) Conine.

She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist church, Circle #4 at the church, and AARP.

She is survived by 1 son and dauther-in-law, Harold L. and Emilie Went of Shelby, 5 grandchildren: Becky Felty, Alvin Lybarger, Dale Lybarger, Carol Kovach, and Charles Went;12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. 1 sister, Allie Lanwher of Ottawa, Ohio; 2 brothers: John Conine and Carl Conine both of Ottawa.

She was prececed in death by her husband, Clarence Went in 1964; a daughter, Eunice Lybarger in 1972; and 2 brothers and 1 sister.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2:00P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home, with Rev. Deborah Beaver Associate Pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 12:00 noon Friday until the time of the services at the funeral home.

Memorial expressions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association and left in care of the funeral home.
