Lee E. Hinklin

Lee E. Hinklin, age 75, formerly of 111 ? North Walnut Street, Mansfield, and a resident, the past year, of the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky, died Sunday evening April 17, 2005 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, after a lengthy illness.

He was born November 7, 1929 in Mansfield the son of the late Charles and Effie (Foos) Hinklin. Lee retired in 1991 from the AK Steel Company in Mansfield and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of: Fraternal Order of Eagles Arie #0183 and Mohican Post #9943 Veterans of Foreign Wars both in Mansfield.

Mr. Hinklin is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberlee (Timothy) Ellis of New Washington and Julie Hinklin of Lexington; 3 sons, Wayne Hinklin of San Diego, CA, John (Sonya) Hinklin of New Washington, and William (Sarah) Hinklin of Marion. 14 grandchildren. 12 great grandchildren. 4 brothers, Zenith (Juanita) Hinklin of Mansfield, Harold (Betty) Hinklin of Galion, Delnore (Phyllis) Hinklin of KS, and Roy (Marilyn) Hinklin of TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Barbara Holloway and a brother, Glenn Hinklin.

Friends may call on Tuesday, April 19, 2005 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:00 AM in Mansfield Memorial Park with Pastor George Lewis officiating. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Detail. Memorial expressions may be made to the Ohio Veterans Home in Sandusky.
