Laveda N. (Beckman) Lingenfelter

Laveda N. Lingenfelter, age 72, of 15 Lynn Road, Shelby, died early Thursday morning in Mansfield General Hospital after and extended illness. She was born June 27, 1918 in Ramseytown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Johnson) Beckman.

Mrs. Lingenfelter was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Lingenfelter is survived by her husband, Harold Lingenfelter, whom she married on June 28, 1940; 1 son David Lingenfelter of Holmesville, Ohio; and 1 daughter Bonnie Harris of Columbus, Ohio; 3 grandchildren; 1 sister Lillian Rounds of Erie, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by 1 sister.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with her pastor the Rev. Lyle Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Calling hours will be on Friday afrom 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
