Lala Elizabeth Todd

Lala Elizabeth Todd, age 72, of 90 Second Street, Shelby, died Monday, August 11, 2003 at her home after a short illness.

She was born January 1, 1931 in Beckley, West Virginia the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertie (Light) Scott. Mrs. Todd was a graduate of Beckley High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with and caring for her family and friends. She was a member of the First Church of God for over 40 years, where she had been a Sunday school teacher for many years. She was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.

Mrs. Todd is survived by her husband, Daimon Todd, whom she wed on May 31, 1949; 3 sons and spouses, Rodney and Linda Todd of Crestline, Russell and Patricia Todd of Shelby and Michael Todd and Linda Whitmore of Shelby; a grandson, Brian Todd of Shelby; 2 brothers Hershell Scott of Tennessee and Lwood Scott of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Leroy Scott.

Friends may call on Wednesday, August, 13, 2003 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 AM at the First Church of God in Shelby with Pastor Andrew Guertler officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio or the American Cancer Society.
