Kenneth W. Trumpower

Kenneth W. Trumpower, age 85, of 5701 State Route 13 North, Shiloh, Ohio, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 29, 1998 at Med Central Shelby Hospital.

Mr. Trumpower was born March 22, 1913 in Richland County, Ohio, the son of Emmert and Nellie (Feightner) Trumpower. He was a farmer all of his life and also worked 17 years at F.E.. Myers in Ashland. Mr. Trumpower was a member of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church in Shiloh and the Richland County Farm Bureau. He had a great love for his family and his farm.

Mr. Trumpower is survived by his wife, Luceil (Feazel) Trumpower, whom he wed on June 26, 1937; 4 daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra and Ed Miller of Shiloh, Bobette and Richard Dudley of Greenwich, Kay and Dave Reed of Shelby, and Jeri and Richard Vernon of Greenwich; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Delee Messner of Perrysville; and 1 brother and sister-in-law, John and Marie Trumpower of Perrysville.

He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Vanessa Vernon; and a sister, Leone Smart.

Calling hours will be on Friday, January 1, 1999, from 3-6 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 :00 A.M. with Rev. Diana Friend officiating. Burial will be in Ganges Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to Mt. Hope Lutheran Church.
