Kenneth W. Pry

Kenneth W. Pry, age 84, of Shelby, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at his home.
He was born September 24, 1924 in Crawford County, Ohio the son of the late Everett and Alice (Crum) Pry. Kenny was a graduate of Tiro High School and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was the owner of Pry Trucking in Shelby. He assisted his wife selling Avon for many years and continued serving their customers even after her death. Kenny enjoyed his pets and watching sports.
He is survived by his sister: Barbara March of Columbus; 2 sisters-in-law: Bonnie Pry of Shiloh and Helen Pry of Greenwich; Nieces, Nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Mona C. (Weddell) Pry in 2006 and by 2 brothers, Everett Pry and John Pry.
Friends may call on Thursday, June 25, 2009 from Noon until 1 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM by Rev. Karl Stonebreaker, Pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the American Heart Association.
