Kenneth Paul Waldruff

Kenneth Paul Waldruff, age 69, of 831 North Superior Avenue, Decatur, Georgia, and formerly of Mentor, died Thursday evening in Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, after a short illness.

He was born November 26, 1925 in Cleveland the son of Walter R. and Bertha G. (Fackler) Waldruff.

Mr. Waldruff was a retired machinist from T.R.W. in Cleveland. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and had attended the University of Alabama. He was an Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Prince Waldruff, whom he married on December 24, 1980; 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law Paul Waldruff of Cleveland, Greg and Chris Waldruff of Willoughby, Ohio, Tracy and Karen Waldruff of Madison, Ohio; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Lynn and Steve Patmore of Mentor, Ohio, Wendy Waldruff of Madison, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 1 stepson, Wayne Prince of Decatur, Georgia; 1 step daughter, Dianne Prince of Decatur, Georgia; 2 sisters, Joanne Perry of Oxnard, California,and Kathleen Glunz of Columbus, North Carolina; 1 great aunt Ozra Price of Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by 1 son Douglas Waldruff , and by an infant brother.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dave Asp, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
