Kathleen A. (Giesige) Ball

Kathleen A. Giesige Ball, age 57, of 90 Third Street, Shelby, died Monday, March 6, 2006, after an extended illness, at the home of her mother Marie Giesige.

Kathy was born November 20, 1948 in Shelby and was a 1968 graduate of Shelby High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and reading.

Kathy is survived by her mother, Marie F. (Reber) Giesige of Shelby; 2 sisters, Carol M. and Dennis Lasker of Geneva IL and Patricia L. and Sam Grove of Mansfield; 2 brothers, Robert G. and Nancy Giesige of Shelby and Mark J. and Candy Giesige of Shelby; Nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, as well as cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert H. Giesige in 2001.

Friends may call on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where a Christian wake service will be conducted at 7:45 PM Tuesday by Deacon Stephen C. Keller. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 AM at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio.
