Joyce Ann (Malone) Ash
Joyce Ann Ash, age 77, of Shelby, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1935 in Chattanooga, TN the daughter of the late Harley Roscoe and Willie (Cagle) Malone. Joyce was a former employee of the Coffee Shop and Ratliff Nursing Home both in Shelby.
Joyce is survived by her 3 children: Violet A. and Gail Edward Kaufman, Evelyn and Daniel Cattey, Vivian D. Ash all of Shelby; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a half-sister: Jane Johnson of TN. She was preceded in death by her husband: Harrison Thomas Ash in 1996, 2 daughters: Lois E. Ballard in 1991 and Ruby L. Ash in 2012, a son: Mark Anthony Ash in 2008.
Friends may call on Monday, February 11, 2013 from 11AM-1PM at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held at 1PM conducted by Rev. Dr. Bruce Philippi. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
