John M. Brandt

John M. Brandt, 88, formerly of 82 E. Whitney Ave. died Wednesday morning in the Heritage Care Center.

Mr. Brandt was born Sept. 27, 1899, in Newville, PA, and lived in Shelby since he was 16, residing most of his life with Mr. and Mrs. William J. Davis. He was a former employee of the Shelby Pure Milk Dairy, where he worked for 43 years. He was member of the First Lutheran Church of Shelby.

Mr. Brandt is survived by two brothers: Frank and Charles, both of Newville, PA.

Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church at Newville, PA by the Rev. Alex Quigley. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery at Newville. Calling hours are tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church and left at the funeral home.
