Jeffrey William Laser
Jeffrey William Laser, age 42, of 171 Euclid Street, Shiloh, died Sunday May 29, 2005.
Jeff was born January 20, 1963 in Shelby, Ohio the son of Thomas Eugene and Sarah (Moon) Laser. He was a 1981 graduate of Bloom Local High School in South Webster, Ohio. He served in the United States Air Force from 1981-1984. He was a 14 year journeyman lineman with IBEW #396 in Las Vegas, NV. Jeff worked extensively in the electrical line trade through out the United States. He received great personal satisfaction when he was able to restore power to those who were without electricity for some time after a natural disaster. He was a member of American Legion Post #503 in Shiloh, and the National Rifle Association. Jeff loved the outdoors, especially, hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He enjoyed attending car races with his family and friends.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Sarah Moon Laser Reeder of Shiloh; a brother, Tom and Kathy Laser of New London; 2 sisters, Sandy and Bryan Mowry of Columbus and Penny Goldberg of Houston, TX; 4 nephews, Alex, Aaron, Austin, and Tommy; 2 Nieces, Kristen and Brittany; Many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Eugene Laser in 1968 and by his step father, Buck Reeder in 1993.
Friends may call on Friday, June3, 2005 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM with his cousin, Rev. Father David Gwinner, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh with military honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial expressions may be made to: Make a Wish Foundation, Shriner’s Burn Hospital, or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
Here it is Aug 2020 and I still think of you often. I miss and love you my friend.
