Jeffery Thomas Goble

Jeffery Thomas Goble, age 54, of 505 Hillborne Avenue, Tiro, died Thursday, March 01, 2007 in New Washington at the home of his daughter.

He was born April 29, 1952 in Devella, Kentucky. He was self employed in construction. He was a member of the Tiro United Baptist Church and enjoyed the outdoors, especially, hunting, fishing, and camping.

Mr. Goble is survived by his wife, Betty (Stephens) Goble whom he wed on December 18, 1971; a son and his wife, Jeffery Buchanan and Sandra Goble of Dutton, Montana; a daughter and son-in-law, Mollie and John Parsons of New Washington; 4 grandchildren, Paedon & Eli Goble, Seth Goble and Caden Parsons; His parents, Cecil and Lena (Harless) Goble of Mansfield; 8 sisters and spouses, Clara and Mac Bowen of Monroeville, Linda and Roy Abscher of Argillite, KY, Kandi Goble of Plymouth, Dorothy and Dave Bradbury of Greenup, KY, Cheryl Slone of Willard, Cyndi and Bruce Jewett of Mansfield, Barb and Brad Peters of Mansfield, Mary Lou and Bobby Aguilar of Shelby; 3 brothers and spouses,
Clyde Goble of McDowell, KY, Travis and Deb Goble of Wayland, KY, and Wayne and Meg Goble of Tiffin. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers-in-law, Charles Wheatly Jude and Sibo Slone.

Friends may call on Sunday, March 4, 2007, from 2-5 PM at the Willard Freewill Baptist Church, 670 Keefer Street in Willard. Funeral services will be held Sunday evening at 5 PM at the church with Pastor Ron Parsons officiating. Friends may also call on Tuesday, March 6 at the Phelps and Sons Funeral Home, Inez, KY from 11-1 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 1 PM with Pastor Merlin Dye officiating.
Burial will be in Goble Family Cemetery in Martin County, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers memorial expressions may be made to the family. The Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
