Jean D. (Browning) Jordan
Jean D. Jordan, age 68, of Mansfield, and formerly of Shelby, died unexpectedly February 2, 2011 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital.
She was born June 17, 1942 in Huntington, West Virginia. She had worked as a telemarketer for Sears. She was a member of Taylortown Community Church and the Taylortown Women’s Outreach. She enjoyed bowling, camping and collecting cat figurines.
Jean is survived by her husband: Richard A. Jordan whom she wed on June 20, 1959; a son: Richard Jr. (Tina) Jordan of Shelby; a daughter Cathy (James) Miller of St. Marys , OH; 6 grandchildren: Brandon Miller, Haylee Jordan, Allison Jordan, Timothy Schriner, Nickolas Arrendondo, Samantha Jordan; 4 great grandchildren: Ian and Emma Miller, Victoria Schriner, Austin Houser; 3 brothers: Robert (Eva) Browning of Mansfield, Jack (Vickie Gibson) Browning of Shelby, Keith Browning of Bucyrus; 2 sisters: Karen Blair of Pemberville, Sandy (Felix) Lopez of Fremont; a step brother: Michael Browning of Bucyrus. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jack Browning and Maxine Spears Rheinbolt and by a son and daughter-in-law: Daniel and Brenda Jordan in 2008.
Friends may call on Sunday, February 6, 2011, from 2-5 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM conducted by Rev. O.
