Jayne C. (Schiffer) Welty

Jayne C. Welty, age 49, of 1699 Chew Road, Mansfield died unexpectedly early Wednesday
morning at the home of her parents at 12 Grand Blvd. in Shelby. She was born July 24, 1945 in Shelby the daughter of Thomas B. and Margaret M. (Wenninger) Schiffer, and they survive.

Also surviving are 1 son and daughter-in-law, James and Angela Welty of Mansfield; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Jack Rachel of Mansfield; a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas A. and Sue Schiffer of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis M. Welty in February of 1991.

Mrs. Welty was a former employee of the G & B Assembly in Mansfield. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mansfield and was a 1963 graduate of Shelby High School.

Calling hours will be on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service which will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby with Father John C. Missler, Pastor of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby, officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Cemetery.
