Janice S. (Ramey) Stamper

Janice S. Stamper, age 59, of 60 Walnut Street in Shelby died Wednesday in Mansfield General Hospital after a short illness. She was born September 12, 1934 in Shelby the daughter of Rolland Raymond and Eula Pearl (Armstrong) Ramey.

Mrs. Stamper was a homemaker and had been employed as a nurses aid at several area hospitals.

She is survived by 1 daughter, Tina Maria Lyons Beaire of Mansfield; 8 grandchildren including Todd Michael Lyons whom she was raising. 1 brother, Robert Ramey of Shelby and 1 sister, Christina Hanstine of Meadville, Pennsylvania; She was preceded in death by 2 daughters Susan Kay Harper in 1986 and by Candice Lynn Lyons 1990.

Calling hours will be on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby with Rev. Steven L. Schag, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
