James Warren Kaylor

James Warren Kaylor, age 69, of the Ashland Extended Care Center, Toledo, died Sunday morning at the Center. He was born on January 16, 1919 in Plymouth.
Mr. Kaylor is survived by 1 son, David Kaylor of Tiro; 2 daughters: Mrs. Charles (Carol) Ridenour and Mrs. Dennis (Linda) Curry, both of Shelby; his mother, Gladys Briner of Shelby; 2 brothers: Tom Kaylor of New Jersey, and Bill Briner of Shelby; 1 sister: Nancy Davis of Orangeville, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 1 greatgrandson.
He was preceded in death by his father Carl Kaylor and by 1 son.
Mr. Kaylor was a former employee of Westinghouse in Mansfield. He was an Army veteran of WWII where he was awarded the purple heart and was a member of the Military Order of The Purple Heart.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Lee Hiney, Pastor of Pleasant Grove Community Church, Bellville, Ohio, officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Plymouth, Ohio where a full military graveside service will be conducted by the Shelby American Legion. Friends may call this evening from 7-9. p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home.
