James Anderson Bricker

James Anderson Bricker, age 77, of Shelby, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Med Central Mansfield Hospital.

He was born August 31, 1934 in Shelby, the son of the late Arthur W. and Rachel M. (Anderson) Bricker. Jim was a 1953 graduate of Shelby High School and was a Navy veteran serving from 1956-1959. He worked for 10 years at AMF in Shelby and for 30 ? Years at Shelby Sales Book. Jim was a member of Shelby Masonic Lodge 350 F & AM, Shelby VFW #291, Shelby Eagles Aries #753 and Shelby Owls Club. Jim loved fishing, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Jim would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by, His wife: Sandra (Stober) Bricker whom he wed on June 15, 1988; 2 step daughters: Christina Floro of Cleveland and Brenda (Mike) Reed of Shelby; step son: Doug Floro of Shelby; step grandchildren: Tristan Reed, Jessica Wheeler, Danny Floro, Ashley Floro, Katlyn Floro; step great grandchild: Nautica Wheeler; sister-in-law: Sharon Bricker of Shelby; Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife: Alice Fay Bricker in 1985, a brother: Theodore W. Ted Bricker in 1999.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. O. Douglas Tackett officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of food and fellowship on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 2-5 PM, at the Shelby Owls Club, 217 North Gamble Street.
