Ina M. (Clark) Trout

Ina M. Trout, age 100, of 64 Raymond Ave. in Shelby, died Monday afternoon in the Heritage Care Center. She was born February 14, 1893 in McLuney, Ohio the daughter of William and Laura Bell (Conaway) Clark.

Mrs. Trout was a homemaker and a member of the Iliff United Methodist Church in McLuney. She was well known for her noodle and pie making. She had hand pieced over 7,200 quilts which she made and gave away.

She is survived by 6 grandchildren: AI Yetzer of Newark, William Yetzer of Arlington Heights, IL, William Trout of Jackson, MI, Norma Reustle of Dover, PA, and James and David Trout both of Shelby; 14 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; her daughter-in law, Catherine Trout of Shelby; 2 sisters: Wilda Selsam of Westerville and Louise Calhoun of Zanesville.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Trout in 1983; her son William Trout in 1973; her daughter, Naomi Yetzer in 1989; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Friends may call 1 hour prior to the 10 A.M. funeral service on Friday at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Rev. Dr. Edward N. Beck and George Savage will officiate. Burial will be in Illiff Cemetery in McLuney, Ohio.

Memorials may be made to the Shelby Ministerial Christmas Program and left in care of the funeral home.
