Hilda F. (Workman) Pugh McKinney

Hilda F. Pugh McKinney, age 84, formerly of 34 Mack Avenue, Shelby, died Thursday evening in the Crestwood Care Center after an extended illness. She was born August 6, 1907 in Woodsfield, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Cora (Jeffers) Workman.

Mrs. McKinney was a former employee of the Shelby Cycle and A.M.F. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the Union Grange, and the Kings Daughters Sunday School Class at church.

She is survived by her husband, Martin Perry McKinney; 1 daughter, Marge Fagan of Shelby; 2 sons: Charles Pugh of Columbus and Ralph Pugh of Shelby; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Roger Workman of Tuscon, Arizona; 2 step-sons, Ralph and Ross McKinney both of Shelby.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Leslie Pugh in 1961; and by 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 A.M. with her pastor the Rev. J. Malcolm Brook officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
