Helen Marie Beighey

Helen Marie Beighey, 61, of 208 Water St., Tiro, died Thursday morning at Bucyrus Community Hospital following an extended illness.

Born Sept. 29, 1923, in Shelby, she was the daughter of Merrill and Margery (Neely) Beighey. She was a retired employee of the Tiro Post Office and of the General Electric Co. in Bucyrus.

She and her brother, Kenneth Beighey, lost their Tiro home and all of their possessions in a Christmas Eve fire. Kenneth survives as does another brother, Keith Beighey of Columbus.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Turner Funeral Home.
