Helen J. (Miller) Lybarger
Helen J. Lybarger, age 82, of 59 Park Village in Shelby, died unexpectedly Monday evening in Shelby Memorial Hospital. SHe was born December 17, 1908 in New Haven, Ohio, the daughter of Simon and Hattie (Folmer) Miller.
Mrs. Lybarger was retired employee of the Shelby Metal Products after 42 years of service. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Circle #4 at the Church; the Shelby American Legion Auxiliary, Past Presidents Club Of The American Legion, the Shelby VFW Auxiliary, Shelby Golden Agers, AARP, Daughters Of Union Veterans, Womens Benefit Association, and was a charter member of the Steel Workers Organization Of Active Retirees.
Mrs. Lybarger is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn and Sandra Lybarger of Shelby; a grandaughter, Shelley Friebel of Shelby and a grandson, Scott Lybarger of Canton; 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Lybarger in 1968; by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
At the request of Mrs. Lybarger, calling hours will not be observed. Private funeral services will held with the Rev. Lyle Hinkle officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to the charity of the donor’s choice and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home which is in charge of the arrangements.
