Hazel M. (Trainor) Haftman

Hazel M. Trainor Haftman, age 85, formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday afternoon in the Heritage Care Center after an extended illness. She was born March 24, 1904 in Oliver, PA, the daughter of James and Annie (Crow) Trainor.

Mrs. Haftman was a self-employed real estate broker and a member of the Eastern Star in Akron.

She is survived by her son, Clayton Rogers of Shelby; a daughter, Betty Ivan of Buena Park, California; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Dora Combs of Detroit, Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by one brother, Frank Trainor.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2:00 P.M. at the Sylvan Heights Cemetery in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Memorial expressions may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in care of the Turner Funeral Home which is in charge of the arrangements.
