I am sorry to hear of Hazel’s passing. My Mom did a lot of traveling with her and her husband. I never meet Hazel, but hear Mom talking about her all the time, as Mom enjoyed traveling also!
We will keep her and her family in our thoughts and prayers.

John was so proud when Hazel was elected to city council. No one was better prepared for the meetings. Hazel would scribble away furiously in a large notebook using colorful pens. Some councilmen would snigger, but the day came when an argument started over who said what at a prior meeting. Hazel turned many pages of the notebook and found the exact quote. The sniggering stopped and Hazel’s notebook came to be feared by all. She and John were wonderful people and I liked them very much.
