Hattie S. (Craig) Goodwin

Hattie S. Goodwin, age 87, of 52 Park Village, Shelby, died Wednesday morning in the Alter Care Nursing Home in Bucyrus after an extended illness. She was born July 28, 1904 in Charleston, WV the daughter of Walter and Mary Jane (Samples) Craig.

Mrs. Goodwin was a former employee of the Coffee Shop in Shelby.

Mrs. Goodwin is survived by a daughter, Lucille S. Browning of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; 2 half-sisters: Bess Jenkins of Akron and
Nina Samples of Procious, WV; 1 half-brother Bill Myers of Procious, WV.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Goodwin in 1937; 2 half-sisters; 1 great-grandaughter; and 1 half-brother.

Calling hours will be held this evening from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held oh Friday at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Tim Schrock, pastor of the First Church Of God on State Rt. 39. Burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
