Harold R. Caskey

Harold R. Caskey, 83, of 68 Jeffrey Ave., Shelby, died early Thursday morning, November 13, 1997, in Med Central-Shelby Hospital after an extended illness.

He was born March 13, 1914 in Morgan County, Kentucky, the son of Frank and Mary (Caskey) Caskey. Mr. Caskey was a machinist at the Autocall Co. in Shelby, retiring in 1979.

He is survived by his wife, Isa (Workman) Caskey, whom he married on July 3, 1944; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Jane and Floyd Stiffler of Westerville, Ohio and Loretta and Dwight Schaffer of Marion, Ohio; 1 son Richard Caskey of Marion, Ohio; 5 grandchildren, Corey and Troy Stiffler, Rocky and Brian Caskey, and Renee. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Fred, Claude and Ola Caskey and by 1 sister, Marie Lewis.

Calling hours will be on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Tim Schrock, Pastor of the First Church of God officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park in Lexington. Memorials to the First Church of God.
