Harold H. Hoover

Harold H. Hoover, age 69 of Rock Road, Shelby, died unexpectedly at 12:32 A.M.
Thursday at Shelby Memorial Hospital. He was born November 5, 1917 in Delaware, Ohio, the son of William Aaron and Cecie (Payton) Hoover.

Mr. Hoover is survived by his wife, Gladys (Heuberger) Hoover, whom he married on August 3, 1936; 1 son, Duane Hoover of Mansfield; 1 daughter, Mrs. Donald (Louise) Wetz of Shelby. 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers: Curtis Hoover of Deming, NM, and Clarence Hoover of
Pekin, IL; 3 sisters: Blanche Wilkinson of Wyoming, IL, Sylvia Pack of Mansfield, and Margaret Perry of Ontario.

He was preceded in death by 1 brother Carl Hoover and by 1 granddaughter Angela Hoover.

Mr. Hoover was a retired employee of U-Forma in Shelby, and prior to that had been employed at the Shelby Spring Hinge Co. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home with his pastor the Rev. Dr. Carl L. Johnson, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Calling hours will be any time after 3:00 P.M today where the family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m.

Memorial expressions may be made to the First Lutheran Church and left at the funeral home.
