Harold A. Shade

Harold A. Shade, age 72, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at his home.

He was born June 16, 1933 in Mansfield the son of the late Wilbur Edward and Mildred R. (Champion) Shade. Harold had been a 50 year employee of the Hartman Electrical Manufacturing Company in Mansfield and was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

Harold is survived by a brother, Eugene Shade of Mansfield; a sister-in-law, Sue Shade of Mansfield; an aunt, Marguerite Holmes of Shelby; Nephews, David Shade, Chris Shade, Bryan Shade, Randy Shade, Timothy Shade, all of Mansfield, Roy Shade of Butler and Nieces, Theresa Cains, Ruth Shade both of Mansfield and Anita Miller of Lexington; a special friend, Nancy Row of Ontario. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Shade in 1993.

Friends may call on Saturday, June 17, 2006 from 10-11 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday with Pastor Ron Kosa of New Life in Christ Christian Church in Mansfield, officiating. Burial will be in Little London Cemetery east of Shelby with military honors. Memorial expressions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
