Harley H. Lewis

Harley H. Lewis, age 78, of Box 70, Rt. #3, Shelby, died Friday morning, unexpectedly, in Shelby Memorial Hospital. He was born October 2, 1914 in Portsmouth, Ohiom the son of John Thomas and Nancy (DeHart) Lewis.
Mr. Lewis was a former employee of Westinghouse in Mansfield and was self-employed in the trucking business. He had a vegatable route in the North Central Ohio Area for many years.
He is survived by his wife Cora L. (Johnson) Lewis; 3 sons: Ronald Lewis of Greenwich, Gary Lewis of Florida, and Danny Lewis of Shelby; 3 daughters: Barbara Lewis of Crestline, Janet Nye of Willard, and Abby Hartge of Shelby; 3 grandchildren: Ron Shepherd, Ken Shepherd, and Billy Hartge; 2 brothers: Kennel Lewis of Shelby, and Burnell Lewis of Shiloh; 3 sisters: Martha Martin and Betty Nothacker both of Shelby, and Ruth Moehle of Lexington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Mary L. Lewis; 1 brother Glenn (Pete) Lewis; and 2 sisters, Laura Lewis and Delpha Lewis.
Calling hours will be on Monday from 1:30 P.M. to 2:30 P.M at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Graveside services will be held on Monday at 3:00P.M. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh with the Rev. Charles E. Sanders, Pastor of the London Road First Church of God, officiating.
