Harley D. Hyatt
Harley D. Hyatt, age 55, of 1227 North Trimble Road, Mansfield, died Tuesday morning at his home after an extended illness. He was born February 11, 1936 in Sharkey, Kentucky.
Mr. Hyatt retired from CPC Mansfield-Ontario Plant in 1991 as a maintenance welder after 30 years of service. He was an avid golfer, woodworker and enjoyed restoring old cars.
He is survived by his wife Joanne (Lawrence) Hyatt whom he married on December 13, 1965; 3 daughters and 1 son-in-law: Connie Burns of Morehead, Kentucky; Tabatha Storms of Mansfield; and Vanessa and Renn Farnsworth of Orem, Utah; his mother, Alice Black Hyatt of Sharkey, Kentucky; 2 brothers: Glenn Hyatt of Marion, Ohio and Delmar Hyatt of Gary, Indiana; 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Nelson Hyatt in 1989.
Calling hours will be this evening from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home and any time after 2:00 P.M. on Thursday at the Northcutt and Son Funeral Home in Morehead, Kentucky where funeral services will be held on friday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Kevin Evans, of the Liberty Baptist Church in Ganges, officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery in Morehead, Kentucky.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and left in care of the funeral home.
