Grace P. (Heuberger) Shade

Grace P. Shade, age 88, formerly of 68 Park Village, died Saturday evening in Crestwood Care Center. She was born March 27, 1902 in Wood County, Ohio, the daughter of Augustus and Matilda Alice (Rudisill) Heuberger.

Mrs. Shade was a homemaker and a member of the First Lutheran Church.

She is survived by 4 sons: Roy M. Shade of Phoenix, AZ, W. Eugene and Richard E. Shade both of Shelby, and Paul L. Shade of Galion; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Lester Heuberger of Mobile, AL.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Shade, in 1965; by 2 sons: Glenn and Junior Shade; and by 1 grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with her pastor the Rev. Dr. Carl L. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Calling hours will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Amerian Heart Association and left in care of the funeral home.
