Grace A. (Ross) Grove

Grace A. Grove, 80, of 101 Park Village, and formerly of Auburn Township, died Friday afternoon at her home after an extended illness.

She was born January 26, 1905 in Richland County. She was the daughter of Royal H. and Myra (Snider) Ross.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Auburn Center Baptist Church, the Auburn Grange No. 956, and the World War I Auxiliary in Bucyrus. She was a former chairperson of the Auburn Baptist Mission Society.

She is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Robert (Mayme) Grove of Bucyrus; Mrs. Dorothy Dome of Morristown, Tennessee; and Mrs. George (Lois) Walker of Shelby. Nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Grove on May 15, 1961; and a brother, Orrin P. Ross.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Turner Funeral Home. The Rev. James Hoffman will officiate, with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in Plymouth. Calling hours will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Auburn Center Baptist Mission Society or to the church and left at the funeral home.
