Golda B. (Artz) Myers

Golda B. Myers, 95, of 2438 St. Rt. 96, Shelby, died Sunday evening at the Heritage Care Center
after an extended illness. She was born May 12, 1893 in Shelby to the late Isaac F. and Emma Jane (Coover) Artz. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby.

She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Glenn J. Myers, whom she married on March 4, 1914; one son Marlin Myers; and one daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Vera) Haverfield, both of Shelby; three grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; one brother; Roscoe Artz; and two sisters, Grace Pittenger and Alma Varchman, all of Shelby.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at the Turner Funeral Home by her pastor the Rev. Carl L. Johnson. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Shelby. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lutheran Scholarship Fund and left at the funeral home.
