Glenn E. Lybarger

Glenn E. Lybarger, age 64, of 236 West Main Street, Shelby, died Friday morning , December 15, 1995, at his home after a long illness. He was born August 22, 1931 in Richland County, Ohio the son of Lewis and Helen J. (Miller) Lybarger.

Mr. Lybarger retired in 1988 from Copperweld-Shelby Division after 39 years of service. He was a life member of Shelby V.F.W. George Broderick Post #291, where he was past commander, and was an Airforce veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a 1950 graduate of Shelby High School.

Mr. Lybarger is survived by his wife, Sandra (Payne) Lybarger, whom he married on March 20, 1959; 1 daughter and son-in-law, Shelley and Shannon Friebel of Shelby ; 1 son, Scott Lybarger of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; 2 nieces and 1 nephew; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ron and Janet Scheid of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his father in 1968 and by his mother in 1991.

Calling hours will be on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 A.M. with Father John C. Missler, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
